Nike Kobe Huarache 2k5 was the late 2004 version of 2k yearly basketball shoes. The game featured former Detroit Piston, Ben Wallace as the cover athlete. It was feature complete, with online leagues and many modes and variables to the main game of straight five on five basketball. This was also the last of the 2k basketball series to use a system of canned animations for jukes and cross over moves. It was also the first game in the 2k Kobe shoes series to feature the reinvented franchise mode known as the Association. The Association would become a staple of the series for years to come. Huarache 2k5 Zoom Kobe was released on only the Playstation 2 and the original Xbox.
